Job & Project Applications
If you have ever found yourself dreaming about how to become an actor in an interactive production, or collectively create experiential performance art with a genuine & inviting company of individuals, then The Lighthouse Troupe just might be exactly what you've been searching for!
Whether we're occasionally creating a site-specific & entirely original work, or mounting humorous & lively improv & sketch comedy, when the time is right we are always open to taking on talented and dedicated folks no matter how you describe being you. If we are ever looking, here is where you'll know.
As we are a Toronto-based group, we predominantly produce work in the city, the GTA, & a bit beyond, suffice it to say that's also where we would be holding auditions unless otherwise specified. Depending on what you are auditioning for we'd likely ask you to come entirely unprepared with nothing but your wits & charm about you, but you might also be asked to cold read an excerpt from the world of the show and be directed in improvised role-play; auditions usually last anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour per-person depending on the work, so be ready to become immersed from the very get-go!
*At this time, due to the state of things, we are not presently auditioning for any division
or singular work, but hope to begin again at some point in the not-so-distant future*
We'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you kindly for being so interested as to read this far in, and with any luck yet, perhaps create something beautiful together, either side-by-side or face-to-face.
Stay safe out there, and never stop dreaming.
